The Under-15 team is for boys who are 14 years of age on January 1st 2011, ie those born in 1996. Training will start up again in late August, early September and it is expected that the team will train on two evenings mid-week with Leinster League matches on a Sunday.

The under 15's will start back training on Wednesday 25th August at 7pm in Shamrock Lodge. Training will continue on Wednesdays 7 - 8:30 and Saturdays from 10 - 12 in Shamrock Lodge for the next few weeks. Players born in 1996 are eligible to play under 15's rugby in the 2010/11 season. Boyne ran out 24-20 winners against Seapoint in a very disjointed Schools/Youth cup Qtr Final. This was not the best display from Boyne and the team have shown they can play much better.
At the end of the day this Under 15 team now contest their third Semi Final of the season and if they play to their potential have the ability to reach the final.
The U15's beat Barnhall 10 - 19 away to Barnhall to book a place in their second Semi final of the season. They now play Navan in the Semi final of the Leinster Youths League and Athy in the Semi's of the Leinster Schools/Youth league over the next two weeks.
The draws for the Schools-Youth cups, which are open to club teams consisting of both club and schools players was made this week. Boyne entered teams in the U-13, U-14, U-15, U-16 and U-17 competitions. The draws are attached.
The 2009/2010 Leinster Youth Cup draws were made on Tuesday 26th January and are after pitting Boyne against local neigbours Dundalk, Navan & Skerries in the Under 19's, Under 15's and Under 14's respectively. The Under 17's travel away to Birr, with a 2nd round tie against Navan awaiting the winner and the Under 13's must travel to North Kildare. The complete draws for each team are attached.
The Under 19's and Under 17's start their campaign on February 13th, with the Under 15's and Under 13's starting the following week, February 20th. Due to the small number of clubs playing at Under 14's that competition does not start until March 20th.
Boyne U15's edged past Barnhall by a scoreline of 0-5 on a freezing cold Sunday morning. Boyne deserved the victory in the end with an unconverted try 5 minutes from the end and a missed penalty earlier in the half. Barnhall came back at Boyne in the last couple of minutes and knock on from Boyne led to a scrum to Barnhall in the Boyne 22. Boyne defended well and eventually Fiachra McEnaney turned the ball over and Boyne cleared their lines.
A Winter Rugby camp will be held in the first week in January, on Monday 4th, Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th from 10am to 12pm in Shamrock Lodge. The sessions are open to all registered under 13's, under 14's and under 15's. An SMS will be sent out shortly to notify all eligible players and further details will be posted to the website.
Boyne U15's beat Skerries in a good game at the Drogheda Grammar School in wet conditions. Boyne started slowly but once in their rythem began to exert huge pressure on the skerries midfield and it eventually led to tries. The boyne full back Cathal Bradley had very little to do in the first half as the Boyne forwards and midfield defence held up very well.
The U15's squad recorded good away wins over Balbriggan in the North East Leinster Youths League and over Terenure in the Schools/Youths league beating Balbriggan 7- 24 and Terenure 10-31.
