Boyne U15's beat Skerries in a good game at the Drogheda Grammar School in wet conditions. Boyne started slowly but once in their rythem began to exert huge pressure on the skerries midfield and it eventually led to tries. The boyne full back Cathal Bradley had very little to do in the first half as the Boyne forwards and midfield defence held up very well.
The U15's squad recorded good away wins over Balbriggan in the North East Leinster Youths League and over Terenure in the Schools/Youths league beating Balbriggan 7- 24 and Terenure 10-31.

Boyne U15's ran out easy winners against Ratoath on Saturday in what was a very one sided game. Against Coolmine on Sunday in a much tighter game Boyne were under a lot of pressure for the first 20 minutes before the Boyne attack got going and scored the first try and from there Boyne ran out 36- 5 winners.
Boyne had a good league opener against Ashbourne winning 15-12 in a physical game which Boyne dominated for much of the game without putting the scores on the board.

Boyne has had 6 players selected for the initial training panel for the North East Development squad. This is very much a preliminary squad and players will be added and removed over the coming season as form and ability dictate.
Congrationlations and best wishes to Ciaron Clinton, Danny Grimes, Ruairi Hickey, Oisin Howell, John McDonnell and Conor Smyth.
Boyne U15’s completed a very successful season with a well deserved victory against Navan to lift the U15’s School/Youths cup. It was a fitting end to a season where the whole squad work hard all year and deserved their cup and league success.
On Sunday 25th April in Skerries, Boyne faced a Navan outfit who are always competitive at this level. Unfortunately they came across a Boyne team that kept their best rugby of the season for this day. A try tally of eight to two was a result of excellent rugby, coupled with unrelenting pressure when the opposition had the ball.
On Saturday last Boyne met Mullingar in a very competitive and physical cup semi final in Navan. Boyne started at 100 mph with quick ruck ball to release their backs. It was only a matter of time before this led to a score. Centre Cormac Brodigan finished off a slick move to score near the posts which was converted by Richard Keane. Mullingar, who were playing with the wind in their backs in the first half came back at Boyne. They established good field position in Boyne’s 22, but could not score the try they desperately desired, and came away with only three points from a penalty.
Boyne hosted the Czech under 15 national squad over the weekend of the 20th - 22nd March and this culminated in a rugby fixture on Sunday between the Boyne 15's and their Czech guests. A great display of rugby was watched by supporters, parents and the Czech commercial attache Bohuslav Zavadil. The teams both defended well but some excellent running rugby saw both teams score 2 tries apiece in the 1st half, all converted - including one excellent sideline conversion from Boyne's Richard Keane - to turn around with the score at 14 - 14. The second half was a tighter affair and the Czechs strength showed in the end when they went over for a further 2 tries while holding Boyne scoreless.
