Each team will play 8 matches. We will be finished at approximately 15:45.
This will be a long day and it is important that all the players (and supporters) have enough food and water to last the day. Each player will recieve a voucher for a free hot dog and bottle of water at lunchtime. There will be a shop and BBQ running during the day.
All players should be kitted out in their Boyne rugby kit and have tracksuits/extra layers for the large part of the day when they will not be playing.
Players who do not have a Boyne jersey should wear a green top.
Each player should have their gumshield with them.
There are directions to Armagh RFC on their website at www.armaghrfc.com.
Boyne U9s arrived at Drogheda Grammar School with a great turnout of 23 players while Dundalk had 9 players. The 32 players were split into 4 teams of 8, with the third Boyne team taking a Dundalk player.
The teams played a round robin on 2 pitches with 3 matches played per team which allowed all players to participate continuously.
It was a good day for rugby and all 4 teams showed their skills with some fine tries scored by all teams. The tackleing was impressive from all with good commitment shown around the pitch.
Boyne U9s travelled to Ratoath last saturday on a day that had started poorly but by the time the teams assembled it had turned bright and breezy which was ideal weather for the series of matches that followed.
Boyne arrived with a great turnout of 18 players made up from some of last year's U7s, U8s and some new players to Boyne.
A large crowd is expected in Ratoath this Saturday 3rd. October for the first games of the season.

Another lovely morning match fixture in north Dublin saw the two U9 teams win both their matches well. Some supporters afterwards reported that Boyne's tackling and enthusiasm was great. The players were really fired up and this was evident during the match with many players wanting short rests from their physical efforts.
Looking forward to next Saturdays training session.

A cold and brisk breeze with clear skies greeted our 14-strong team which arrived punctually at Malahide’s fine facility on Estuary Rd. This punctuality enabled us to have a good half-hour warm-up session before the game which was very useful. As Malahide had over 30 players we played three 10-minute “halves”, and cracking encounters they each were.
