Boyne U10s completed a fantastic season when they fielded two teams away in Dundalk last Saturday. Boyne proved too strong for their opposition winning all five of the games contested. On a magnificent day for rugby Boyne scored some great tries after producing some great passages of play with fine passing and rucking. One of the Boyne teams kept a clean slate when they prevented two Dundalk and one Ardee team from scoring. The big difference between the teams was the tackling, with Boyne hitting almost every tackle.

After securing three wins against Barnhall the week before Boyne travelled with a large squad to Skerries on Sunday morning last. Boyne again proved too strong for Skerries following on from the last time these teams met back in January. Boyne travelled with a squad of twenty six and fielded two teams of eleven with two substitutes. Boyne outscored their Dublin opponents securing wins in all four matches. Boyne U10‘s proved too strong for Malahide when they met in the Metro League last Sunday. Boyne won both games when they travelled to Malahide for this rearranged fixture. Boyne travelled with a squad of twenty and fielded two teams of eight players. Both teams outscored their Dublin opponents, scoring over twenty tries and conceding only two. Boyne had a large squad of 38 players, a sign of the commitment there is among the parents; unfortunately North Meath could only field two sides of 7 players.
