Boyne Under 10's wrapped up a very successful season with a trip to Balbriggan to face Balbriggan, Ashbourne and Athboy. Again Boyne managed to field 3 teams which is proof of the strenght and improvement within the squad as the season has developed. Again some great rugby was produced with Boyne competitive in every game despite stretching squad to the limit.

Boyne V Suttonians Under 10's

Boyne u'10's V Wanderers at Aviva

Boyne Under 10's enjoyed the novelty of a trip to the back pitch at the Aviva to take on Wanderers on a bitterly cold sunday morning. Boyne fielded 2 teams and proved too strong for Wanderers. Boyne won all 4 games and racked up a large number of tries. Well done to Connor O'Dwyer and Felim Ryan in scoring their first competitive tries. Due to the large number of scorers we did not keep note. Well done to all involved for playing through the freezing conditions, a tough bunch these Boyne lads!

Boyne vs Skerries U10s 03.03.13

9 entertaining but hard matches were played today at Shamrock Lodge. Eventually waking up to the reality that Skerries had brought 3 good sides, the Boyne teams played good rugby to come out overall winners at 4-3 with 2 matches drawn.
Tackling once again an issue which requird to be at the top against strong Skerries runners.
Rucking on par and got stronger as the matches developed, with the teams realising that they can match any team if they can focus on the fundamentals.

Boyne u'10's V ashbourne

Boyne under 10's travelled to Ashbourne with a strong squad. Boyne fielded 2 teams and also donated a few players to Ashbourne to insure all games were played at a fair level. The result was that all games were played in great spirit with some fine running rugby displayed by both sets of teams. 4 games were played in total with Boyne coming away with 4 wins, a super return for all involved. Many thanks to the Boyne lads that volenteered to play for Ashbourne, we'll be glad to have you back on our side next week.

Boyne V Naas 3 feb 2013 Under 10's

Boyne hosted Naas at Shamrock Lodge on sunday 3rd Feb 2013. This was their first outing since christmas and the lads were keen to get stuck into some game time. A strong turn out by Boyne meant that a lot of subsitutes were on hand so rotating players proved a challange for coaches. Fair play to some of the Boyne players who volinteered to play for Naas, allowing them to field 2 teams. With plenty of muck on hand, the kids really enjoyed the day and produced some excellent rugby in all 4 matches.

Boyne U'10's host local blitz

Boyne hosted a North East blitz at Shamrock Lodge on Sunday 9th Dec 2012. Teams included; Boyne, Ardee, Dundalk & Ratoath. Boyne again stretched their squad to the limit fielding 3 teams. A great days rugby was had by all with Boyne given a good test by a strong Dundalk squad. Again, special thanks to all involved and especially the parents who provided cakes and sambo's for everyone in clubhouse afterwards.
Boyne played a total of 7 games; won 3, drew 1, lost 3 which was a very good return given the size of our squad.
