Boyne Under 12s “Vipers” squad eventually ran out easy winners in a fast paced and energetic encounter with Lansdowne RFC. The foundations for the win were laid in the early part of the game, with Boyne racking up five tries before half-time without a response from the visitors from Dublin 4.

Boyne Under 12s “Vipers” travelled to Dublin to be greeted by mild weather, a heavy pitch and a well organised (and hospitable) Terenure team. From the very start Terenure set out to take full advantage of the home setting and they immediately put Boyne under pressure forcing the concession of the first try in a matter of minutes.

After a hard and physical game with north meath , the under 12's {aka the vipers} headed to the coastline venue of Sutton , with Boyne tipping off they moved in to gear straight away as the tackles came hard and fast . It wasn't long before there was a try on the score board for Boyne who in the end cruised to a comfortable win over Suttonians . There was a great tackling display from a number of Boyne players such as Darragh Magee, Sean Woods, Niall Flynn and Steven Browne while Oisean Hearty was the man of the day running out with 4 of the 10 scores that Boyne got .

A large crowd is expected in Ratoath this Saturday 3rd. October for the first games of the season.
All Boyne teams 7's through 12's will play teams from Ratoath and Athboy.
