Return to Rugby Update

To All Coaches and Team Managers:
With the easing of restrictions and the gradual return to rugby I wanted to update you on our timelines as we progress through the various milestones on our return to play. These are outlined in the table below. As you will be aware, we are obliged to work within the various IRFU and Government guidance and dates on this return. We are taking measured steps and would ask you to take note of the requirements at the various stages and most importantly complete our club Covid-19 Induction Training. 

A Message from Peter Kerr Covid-19 Club Safety Officer

To all Players, Coaches Parents/Guardians, Referees and members. We recognise the difficult and frustrating time being experienced by everyone during the Covid-19 pandemic and we ask you to stay patient as we work on the procedures and protocols required before a return to play is allowed. We have in place Covid-19 Compliance Officers for each team throughout the club and our Covid-19 Committee is completing our Club Risk assessment and developing our Safety Plan.

Member & Ex Player James McKevitt (Mckevitt King Architects) Shortlisted for the RIAI public choice awards

News Just In:

Member & Ex Player James McKevitt from McKevitt King Architects have been shortlisted for the RIAI public choice awards. This is absolutely massive for them! It’s for ‘Tooting Meadow’, Scarlet Street (redevelopment of the old fire station site). Basically they need to get as many public votes as possible. Voting opened yesterday and closes on 3rd July. So we are asking all members, players, friends & supporters of Boyne to get behind James & his team at McKevitt King Architects. Do it in support of a member & local project.. We Voted...Will you??

Further to my note below, and in line with IRFU return to Club Rugby protocols we have appointed Peter Kerr as Boyne RFC Covid-19 Club Safety Officer. Peter will work with the IRFU, Leinster Branch and our club compliance officers to ensure safe return to play over the next few months.
