Leinster Branch J3 Anderson Cup Boyne 20pts Mullingar 16pts

Leinster Junior 3 Anderson Cup Semi Final Boyne 20pts Mullingar 16pts.
The Boyne Junior 3 side are the last remaining side involved in competitive activity because of their semi final Anderson Cup win over Mullingar at Shamrock Lodge on Saturday last. They now face the winners of Enniscorthy and Naas in the final.
Most teams at this level just go through the rituals of lower grade insignificance before games but this side had a pre-match talk from former Boyne youth player who went on play for Leinster, Munster and Ireland, Niall Ronan.

Leinster Branch Anderson Cup Boyne 18pts North Meath 8pts

<p>This was a hum dinger of a cup game played on Friday last at Shamrock Lodge between these two North East protagonists in the 2nd round of the Leinster J3 Anderson Cup. Emmet Grogan&rsquo;s charges came up against formidable opposition from the Co Meath club&rsquo;s first team but having endured a shaky initial 20 minutes the Boyne side settled down to come to terms with the opening offensive of North Meath.</p>

North East Leinster Branch - McGee Cup Final; Boyne 18pts Athboy 6pts.

North East Leinster Branch Cup Final - Boyne 18pts Athboy 6pts
Boyne's domestic season ended on an emotional and poignant note on Sunday last at Ardee when their 3rds completed a successful McGee Cup campaign when they overcame a gallant Athboy side on the score 18pts to 6pts.
The team and mentors dedicated this win to their departed team member, Beechy McCreanor, who captained the side at the start of the season before his sad demise which rocked the rugby fraternity.
