Boyne U13 'S secured their shield final place with a great win over local rivals North Meath .The Boyne side led 14 -0 at half time with tries from Alex Holden which were duly converted by Daniel Gray.The Meath men started strongly in the second half and closed the gap to 2 points with fifteen minutes to go this was just the shock that the Boyne team needed .They lifted their game and tries from Luke O'Callaghan and Daniel Gray secured a deserved victory for the Boynesiders.
Boyne U13'S travelled to the county of Offaly for the second week in a row this time it was Tullamore who provided the opposition.The Boynesiders started very well when with only five minutes gone Alex(hurricane)Holden intercepted for a great try under the posts which was duly converted by the ever dependable Daniel Grey.Tullamore responded well and a great forwards tussle ensued with no quarter given.In a great move they spread the ball wide and a missed tackle by Boyne let the home side in for their first score which they failed to convert.The score at half time was 7-5 to Boyne .The
Boyne U13'S cruised to their third win in a row in the Leinster league with a great performance in poor conditions.
Boyne U13s played host to a confident Dundalk side on Saturday in Bryanstown. The changeable conditions in the early part of a close first quarter negated some of the kicking efforts of our quick running back line, led by Stevie Kieran. This allowed Dundalk to open up a 10 point lead, though their failure with the extras would prove crucial later on. Fantastic unit play by the forwards, ground back a score from Luke O' Callaghan, allowing Daniel Grey to make the only conversion of the game.

Boyne U13's registered their first win in the North East league with an impressive 29 -15 win over a competitive Ardee side.The conditions were tough with ball handling at a premium in the slippery wet weather ,Boyne scored five tries in all with a great performance from the Boyne pack. Shane Brodigan opened the scoring with a well worked try from the backs Ardee piled on the pressure and were eventually rewarded with a try after being held up on the line twice to make it 7-5 at the break to Boyne.
“One Province” is a community ticketing initiative designed specifically for underage groups travelling to Leinster matches from Clubs or Schools.
There are a set number of tickets available under this scheme (20 for u13). The cost of the ticket and bus combined is €20 per player (€5 going to the Luxemburg fund above). We will confirm details closer to the day. Tickets will be allocated to the first 20 players who submit the €20 to Pat Cronin.

We have been invited by Rugby Club Luxembourg, Junior section, to the 6th version of the annual International U13s tournament. It will take place on Saturday the 28th of April 2012.
