Dear Parents,

Welcome to the under 7's team for the 2018/19 season.  To be eligible to play on this team players must be born in 2012/Before April 2013.  We usually train every Saturday morning in the Drogheda Grammar School in Mornington from 10:00am to 11:00am.  There will be a series of matches and blitzes played throughout the season against other clubs in the North East region.  Please Note that All rugby at this age is non-competitive, and the emphasis is on learning the skills required to play, having fun and inclusiveness.

Armagh Blitz U7s

On Saturday 9th April, Boyne U7s joined dozens of teams from across the country to play at the annual Armagh RFC mini rugby blitz.
Boyne fielded two teams and each team played six matches across the day. The standard of rugby from the young players was the best we have seen all season and all of the boys did themselves proud against some very well drilled and in some cases slightly older opposition.
Thankfully the rain held off and the Boyne supporters were able to enjoy the games cheering on the teams.

Boyne U7s V Ratoath

On Sunday 19th January Boyne U7s hosted Ratoath in our first home blitz.
We were blessed with mild weather and Boyne fielded three teams playing against each other and the travelling team from Ratoath.
The children did very well and the rugby is coming on in leaps and bounds.
Following the enjoyable matches the adults and children were treated to a fantastic post match tea which went down very well with all concerned.
Many thanks to Ratoath for their participation, all the players, parents and coaches.

U7s Blitz at Dundalk 24th Oct 2015

Saturday the 24th October saw the first blitz that our u7s team have competed in. Away to Dundalk on a great morning for rugby Boyne brought lots of excited youngsters and played against two home teams.
The morning was enjoyed by all and we extend our thanks to Dundalk RFC for hosting us and supplying an after match tea that was very welcome for children and supporting adults alike.
Well done to all the Boyne u7s on a great start to the season.
